Summer Vacation Starts Now

It’s FINALLY summer time in the DMV. Our extra wet spring has me yearning for all of the summer fun this year. But I cannot see myself fighting Bay Bridge traffic one more season. Just the idea of having to build in two more hours of travel time to be dead stopped of Rt 50 has my blood boiling. So instead, this year, I am headed to the Pocono Mountains. A quick 3 and a half hour drive from Northern Virginia is not only the perfect distance, but smooth sailing as well.

What I am really looking forward to this year is all of the fun the Pocono Mountains have to offer this summer. Almost every weekend a festival is happening. From Pride to Hometown Heroes to Arts and Crafts to Wine and Food. There is a festival for everyone!
